Grebniew Kaz is a multidisciplinary sculptor and multimedia artist, currently in an open loving relationship with a laser cutter machine. Drawing inspiration from architectural design and geometric forms, together they create multi-layered relief sculpture and other works of art.
The laser cutter is the machine of choice, but Kaz also works with other machine fabrication techniques, utilizing 3D printers, CNC routers, and waterjet machines. Along with his main body of work, Kaz also has experience working in various sculptural mediums including: carpentry, mold making and casting, kiln formed glass, ceramics, masonry, metal foundry, and more. Although he is mainly a sculptor, Kaz practices old master’s techniques in oil painting, earthworks installations, illustration, and graphic design as well.
Kaz received his BFA in Sculpture and Installation from the Florida State University in 2016, which included certification in Public Art/Architectural Art in 2014. Kaz has gained personal commissions of his own, as well as being a part of numerous public art installations around the south east region.
